The Nightingales and Crumplehorns Fundraiser

25 October 2013

25 October.  Spa Pub, Scarborough.  7.30 p.m. - 11 p.m.  FREE ENTRY.

Profits from the launch and sales of ‘The Crumplehorns’ new single will be donated to SWR Mind.

Great news! Scarborough band The Crumplehorns are supporting The Nightingales at a free gig at The Spa Pub in Scarborough on 25 October 2013.

David Yates - musician, artist and bipolar sufferer – contacted us to let us know about the event and that it is all in aid of SWR Mind.

The Crumplehorns music addresses personal struggles including mental illness and loss, as well as wider environmental and social issues.

The Nightingales are a punk/alternative rock band held in high acclaim by Marc Riley and Phill Jupitas of BBC 6 Music and by the late great John Peel who said,

"Their performances will serve to confirm their excellence when we are far enough distanced from the 1980's to look at the period rationally and other, infinitely better known, bands stand revealed as charlatans".
