Mind Music Concert

An afternoon concert featuring a wide range of music is taking place at Scarborough Library on Saturday 10 October - World Mental Health Day - in aid of Scarborough Whitby and Ryedale Mind.

The concert from noon until 2pm will feature music ranging from classical and jazz to rock and songs from hit West End musicals.

Expect to hear a mxture of classical and jazz solos from musicians David Ives and Jamie Kershaw.

It will includ pieces by Mozart and Chopin to songs by Elton John, Eva Cassidy and Meatloaf while there will also be music from the musicals Chess and Sunset Boulevard.

Tickets to see the performance at the library in Vernon Road in Scarborough town centre cost just £5 and can be purchased in advance from us here in the office by calling us on (01723) 588008.

They will also be on sale prior to the event from Scarborough Music at 34 Huntriss Row and Mojo's Music Cafe at 55 Victoria Road, both in Scarborough or on the door on the day of the concert.
