Ryedale Community Fundraisers Needed!
11 October 2017
Mental health issues can affect anyone at any age, of any sex, or race and we hope we can find the extra volunteers we desperately need to continue offering support services across North Yorkshire.
If we cannot continue our outreach programme, people in this large rural community, will no longer have access to support and we don’t think this a good situation for anyone”
What does a Community Fundraising volunteer do?
Being a volunteer with us involves tasks like bucket collecting, leaflet distribution, organising events, selling raffle tickets and placing and monitoring collection tins. Opportunities are flexible and can fit around your routine. Obviously we would love people to get involved in helping events on an ongoing basis but we know people are incredibly busy. If you, your family or your team at work were able to run one quiz at your local pub or a coffee and cake morning in your office, every penny counts for us.
What are the benefits of becoming a volunteer for Mind?
