Changing Minds Workshops April

Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Mind are offering free of charge workshop programmes in mental health awareness, behaviour change and communication. All workshops will be delivered by our in house trainer who is also a qualified counsellor. Attendees will also be invited to attend a peer support programme after completing the workshops which will continue to explore some of the themes.
The workshops are funded by the North Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner, aimed at:
· Victims of crime or individuals at increased risk* of being victims of crime due to mental ill-health
· People at risk of offending or repeat offending due to mental ill-health
*Please note that people with mental health problems are statistically more likely to be a victim of crime so anyone experiencing mental health issues will qualify under this stream.
April-May Mental Health Awareness Programme:
Wednesday 11th April; Wednesday 18th April; Wednesday 25th April; Wednesday 2nd May; Wednesday 9th May. 10am-12pm, Dial-a-Ride, Scarborough
April-May Behaviour and Communications Programme:
Wednesday 11th April; Wednesday 18th April; Wednesday 25th April; Wednesday 2nd May; Wednesday 9th May. 1-3pm, Dial-a-Ride, Scarborough
