Volunteers' Week (28 May - 3 June)

30th May 2012

Volunteers’ Week (28 May – 3 June 2012)

Volunteers’ Week is an annual campaign by Volunteering England (www.volunteering.org.uk) which celebrates the fantastic contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK.
“Volunteering England is excited to be hosting the 28th Volunteers’ Week in 2012, a year in which the central role of volunteers is clearer than ever.
At its heart Volunteers’ Week is about celebrating the millions of individuals who donate their time throughout the year. So to everyone who chooses to spend time, unpaid, doing something that benefits their community, many thanks from everyone at Volunteering England.”
(Justin Davis Smith, Chief Executive of Volunteering England)
And a very many thanks from everyone here at Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Mind.
SWR Mind relies on the support of our wonderful volunteers, without them we simply could not do what we do. We want you to know how much we appreciate what you do and what a huge difference it makes to the lives of those you support.

We have numerous volunteering opportunities available (short, medium and long term) and would love to hear from you if you think you may be interested.
Volunteering changes lives!
